RCBC Savings Bank
RCBC Savings Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC). It commenced operations in 1996 as the unibank's consumer banking arm, offering various deposit products and Real Estate, Auto and Personal Loans. The following year, the thrift bank expanded to 6 branches, reaching out to customers in Quezon City, Pangasinan, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and Davao. The bank grew exponentially and in September 1998, RCBC Savings acquired the assets of Capitol Development Bank. Today, RCBC Savings Bank spans the country with the second largest network among all thrift banks, at 111 business centers. RCBC Savings Bank is the second largest thrift bank in the country with assets of P 23 billion, deposits of P 20 billion, and a loan portfolio of P 16 billion.
