CORPORATE CASH MANAGEMENT
The concept of cash management means managing the inflows and outflows of cash from your business in order to reduce costs and increase profits.
RCBC offers cash management products and solutions aimed at helping business customers enhance their cash flow cycle. These include collection and receivables services, payment management services, electronic banking services and other third-party services.
RCBC’s cash management service has helped many local enterprises. In fact, it topped a recent survey on Cash Management conducted by Asiamoney, one of the world’s premier and most read financial publications. The survey revealed how the financial service providers fare against each other in the eyes of their clients. The poll results are widely recognized as industry benchmarks as these cover the views of various companies’ CEOs, CFOs and other key decision-makers.
To date, it serves more than 2,000 business customers across industries and market segments such as utility companies, pre-need and insurance companies, Japanese and other ecozone locators, various local and multinational corporations as well as small and medium enterprises requiring cash management solutions.
I.Cash Management Products & Solutions
1. Collection and Receivables Management
Corporate Collection
Via Over-the-Counter (OTC)
Through the Agent Collection service via OTC, sales collections of salesmen or agents, may be remitted to the client through any of RCBC’s strategically located business centers nationwide.
Via Pick-up at Premises (Formerly Deposit Pick-up)
Through the Agent Collection service via Pick-up at Premises, RCBC’s fleet of armored cars are dispatched to the client’s outlets or offices to pick-up their funds.
Bills Collection
Through the Bills Collection facility, RCBC clients’ subscribers or policyholders may remit their payments to the client through the following channels:
-any of RCBC’s strategically located business centers nationwide
-via the myRCBC Retail Internet Banking
-via myRCBC Phone Banking
To facilitate timely reporting, a Daily Collection Report summarizing all collections received may be transmitted electronically via e-mail and eventually viewable through the Enterprise Banking Internet facility.
Check Manager
Through this collection facility, safekeeping or custodianship of the clients’ Post-Dated-Checks are outsourced to RCBC.
The status of the PDCs in RCBC’s custody may be viewed or monitored through the Enterprise Banking Internet facility.
2. Disbursement Management
2.1 Check Writer Facility
Through this facility, the check printing requirements of corporate clients are outsourced to RCBC in the form of Manager’s Checks (MCs).
To facilitate printing of checks, the client would simply have to transmit the instruction through the Enterprise Banking Internet facility.
For checks value dated the following day, the instructions should be transmitted not later than 4:00PM of the current day.
At the option of the client, the checks printed may be released to the client or directly to the suppliers.
2.2. Rizal Enterprise Software
It is a stand-alone check disbursement software, which aims to streamline the following processes involved in the company’s payable settlement: Accounts Payable Processing, Check Processing, Releasing & Debit Instructions, and Reconciliation.
Clients will be able to print their acknowledgement, voucher, and check in just one form called the three-part Rizal Enterprise Check
This product can be availed by the following business entities:
a. Micro Enterprises (Single Proprietors & Partnerships)
b. Small and Medium Enterprises
c. Cooperatives & other registered Organizations
d. Large Corporations
2.3. eCheck Payment Solution
The eCheck Payment Solution is a ‘checkwriting’ product that allows the corporate customers to completely outsource the administrative task of processing, printing and cutting of checks.
Features:
Outsourced Check Printing
The tedious process of check preparation will be eliminated from the company. Check payment details will just have to be uploaded through the RCBC Enterprise Banking Internet Facility, at least a day before the value date of the MC.
Convenient Release of Checks
The MC/s will be released at the RCBC branch to the company’s authorized representative, or may even be released directly to the company’s payees. RCBC will have the MCs available for release by 2pm on the value date of the MC.
Wider Network for Release of Checks
RCBC has numerous branches nationwide designated to release the MCs. Client may select which branch/s is strategically located to release the MC.
Up-to-Date Reporting
Status of the requested MC/s will be reflected in the Enterprise Banking Internet Facility. Available MC status will be as follows: For Pick-up, Claimed, and Negotiated.

3. Payroll Management
Employee Payments Service
Through this facility, salaries and commissions of employees or agents may be remitted electronically through:
-Diskette or
-via the Enterprise Banking Internet facility
4. Liquidity Management
4.1 Enterprise Banking Internet facility
Through the RCBC Enterprise Banking Internet Facility, the designated client user can access RCBC anytime, from anywhere in the world by logging on to www.rcbc.com and clicking on the link to the RCBC Enterprise Banking Internet facility.
Through the Enterprise Banking Internet facility, a suite of transactions may be performed by the client such as the following:
- Accounts Inquiry
- Transaction History
- Fund Transfer
- Supplier Payment
- Check Manager
- Checkbook Reorder
- Stop Payment Order
- Payroll
- Remittance of Social Security System (SSS) Contributions.
- Rates Inquiry
- Market Analysis
II. Third Party Services Available to RCBC Clients
1. Collection and Receivables Services
1.1 BancNet On-line (BOL)
Through the BOL, the clients’ subscribers or policyholders may remit their payments to the client by logging-on to the BancNet On-line website (http://www.bancnetonline.com).
Through the BOL, the client would have access to more than 4 million BancNet ATM cardholders.
As depository bank, payments through the facility would be centralized with RCBC.
1.2 BancNet Direct Bills Payment (BP)
Through the BancNet BP, the clients’ subscribers or policyholders may remit their payments to the client through any of BancNet’s network of over 2000 ATMs nationwide.
Through the BancNet BP, the client would have access to more than 4 million BancNet ATM cardholders.
1.3 BancNet Point of Sale System (POS)
Through the BancNet POS, accredited merchants may receive cashless payments via debit from the BancNet ATM cardholders’ accounts through BancNet POS terminals.
As an added benefit to the client, the POS terminals may also be used for credit card payments.
Through the BancNet POS, the client would have access to more than 4 million BancNet ATM cardholders.
2.Payment Management Services
BancNet EDI-SSSNet
Through the BancNet EDI SSSNet, the Social Security System (SSS) Member Employer (Client) may remit employee member contributions to the SSS either by logging-on to www.bancnetvan.net/EdiWeb or by accessing the RCBC Enterprise Banking Internet facility and clicking on the link to the BancNet EDI SSSNet.
BancNet is currently working on an enhancement which would facilitate loan payments to the SSS.
