Employee Benefit Trust
An arrangement wherein RCBC acts as the Trustee or Investment Manager of the funds set aside by a company exclusively for the purpose of paying retirement benefits to its employees when due. The arrangement provides for systematic payment of benefits as well as enjoyment of certain tax benefits for both the company and its employees subject to certain conditions being met.
Portfolio Management
Portfolio management is where RCBC Trust designs a specific portfolio that is suited to a particular customer’s needs, yield expectations and risk appetite. Minimum term for this is one year. The fund can be invested in fixed income instruments, stocks or a combination of both.
Escrow Agency
An arrangement wherein RCBC serves to protect the interest of two or more contracting parties. As a neutral party, RCBC will oversee the performance, compliance and completion of the terms and conditions of the contract the clients have entered into, as well as ensure that all documents pertaining to the arrangement are held safely in our custody.
Investment Management or Corporate Trusteeship
Similar to portfolio management, RCBC can manage your corporation’s funds by placing it in either fixed income instruments or equities or a combination of both, with the ultimate objective of maximizing your investment earnings within acceptable risk levels.
Sinking Fund Management
An arrangement wherein you set aside a sum of money with RCBC for a specified period of time, out of which shall be paid certain obligations you specified. To ensure maximization of your funds, RCBC invests these in prime fixed-income securities and pays your obligations to your lenders directly out of the fund.
Stock/Bond Transfer Agency
RCBC can act as the Stock Transfer Agent or Bond Agent which will assist your corporation in keeping track of stock shares or bond certificates issued to various stockholders/bondholders. As Agent, RCBC shall take care of recording any change in the ownership of the company’s capital stock or its long-term debt papers. The Agent can also handle the payment of cash or stock dividends declared and prepare and submit reports required by SEC or any authorized government agency.
Receiving Agency
RCBC will receive and deposit funds for eventual turnover to designated recipients. This is usually done with Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) of Common and Preferred shares of companies.
Loan Agency
It is an arrangement wherein RCBC acts for and in behalf of your corporation for the purpose of paying your loan obligations to your creditors in a timely and organized manner. RCBC will monitor the interest rates and coordinate remittance of funds whenever applicable.
Company Savings Plan
Your company’s employees can pool their savings into a fund which will be managed by RCBC and can be invested in high-earning instruments. Your employees can make regular contributions through a salary deduction arrangement. Upon retirement, separation or resignation from your company, the employees receive the full amount of their savings plus the interest earned.
Mortgage Trust Indenture
RCBC will act as an intermediary between a borrower and its creditors in the administration of properties securing the company’s loans. This is suitable for corporate clients who want to maximize the use of the company’s asset pool in securing loans from several creditors, as well as provide protective financial instruments for both the borrowers and the creditors.
