Yes, itís official!

We, in RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank, will be on R&R starting May 4, 2012 to Reset & Replace our core banking systems and pave the way for us to provide you better products and services that will make your lives easier.

As RCBC and RCBC Saving Bank go on R&R mode bankwide, we suggest that you, our clients, do all your required weekend banking transactions with us before that date. We will temporarily be shutting off all our systems at exactly 3:00 PM of May 4, Friday, and resume with our regular operations on May 7, Monday --fully Revitalized and Rejuvenated!!!

We thank you in advance for understanding our need to take this all important R&R! Avoid the rush. Plan your transactions now and do them before we take our R&R!!!

RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank will shut down all systems to switch into the new system. ALL channels will be TEMPORARILY unavailable.

RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank customers will not be able to transact in all channels during the switch process such as:
  1. Over-the-counter or through the Business Centers
  2. RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank ATMs nationwide
  3. Internet banking for both corporate and individual clients (AccessOne & Enterprise Banking)
  4. Mobile and Phone banking
  5. RCBC MyWallet card transactions
  6. RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank Telemoney
  7. Bancnet connectivity or facilities such as the ATMs of other banks, Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals for cashless transactions and Bancnet Online

I'm a customer of RCBC 168 Mall Business Center. Their banking hours is up to 5:00 PM everyday and they have Saturday banking. Will the branch remain open for business?

There will be no extended banking hours on May 4, 2012 (Friday). All Business Centers will be open until 3:00 PM only to give way to the scheduled system upgrade. However, our Business Centers with Saturday business schedules will be open and accept transactions on May 5, Saturday.

While we are in the process of system upgrade, all our channels including electronic banking (ATM, internet, mobile, phone) will be temporarily unavailable. This means that access to your RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank account/s will not be possible ONLY AT THIS PARTICULAR TIME..

As a customer of RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank, we suggest that you perform your banking transactions for that weekend, ahead of our system upgrade. Should you need cash, fund transfers, bills payment, payroll disbursements, and others, please do it in advance.

We will keep copies of all financial records prior to the switch, but should you opt to update your financial records, please do so on or before May 4, 2012.

ALL transactions falling within the implementation period will not be completed. You may continue to transact as soon as we are online again.


Any effect on transactions coming from other banks or financial institutions, e.g. telegraphic transfers, swift transactions, inter-bank funds transfers, etc?

We will continue to receive and process these transactions. However, we can only post the transactions in your account once our core banking system is online again on May 5, 2012.

Yes, international branches and remittance centers abroad will also be affected.


How will this affect my remittance?

We will process all transactions as usual up to end of business day on May 4, 2012 before the system upgrade commences.

We will continue to receive and process incoming remittances. However, we can only post the transactions in your account once our core banking system is online again. The funds can only be withdrawn after.

Yes, you will not be affected during our system upgrade. However, we wish to inform you that when the new system is already in place, you might be requested to update your records in your branch of account or through your relationship manager.

Plans to rationalize forms and to streamline procedures are also underway. Please continue to bear with us as we go through this transition. We, in RCBC and RCBC Savings Bank, are doing our best to minimize these challenges. Should you encounter problems, please be assured that they are temporary and will be fixed in the soonest possible time.
