- In 1986, RCBC created the Private Banking Unit (PBU) to cater to select high networth individuals.
- In 2005, PBU was re-organized and renamed Wealth Management (WM) and placed under Corporate Banking Group
- In 2006, Wealth Management was spun off from Corporate Banking Group and made a separate group
- In 2nd half of 2006, WM underwent major reorganization with the creation of 2 segments:
Segment 1 - Binondo
Segment 2 - Makati / Regional

Segment 1 - Binondo, Greenhills, Kalookan, Quezon Avenue
