1. What is this service?
Clients with an RCBC Online Banking account can now pay for services offered by various government institutions via Landbank’s Linkbiz Portal.
This service is currently only available in RCBC Online Banking web portal. Availability of this service in the RCBC mobile app will be announced soon.
2. What government institutions are included in this service?
This service will be initially available for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) tax payments starting August 15, 2019. Payments to other government institutions will be announced soon.
3. How do I pay for government services online?
a. Visit the Landbank LinkBiz Portal b. Click PAY NOW c. Select the government institution in the merchant name. For BIR tax payments, search BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE (BIR) d. Select the transaction type you want to complete. For BIR transactions, select TAX PAYMENT e. Fill out the transaction details needed and review provided information f. In the payment mode, select OTHER BANK VIA PAYGATE g. In the PayGate screen, select LOG-IN TO ONLINE BANKING h. Select RCBC (Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation) as your bank i. Log-in to your RCBC Online Banking account & select the account where you want to charge the payment. j. Confirm payment and view/print the payment confirmation.
4. When can I use this service?
This service is available 24/7, except during scheduled maintenances for Landbank LinkBiz Portal or RCBC Online Banking.
5. What do I need to avail of this service?
You need to have an active RCBC deposit account (either savings or checking) enrolled in RCBC Online Banking to avail of this service. You need to ensure that your account has sufficient funds before a transaction.
6. How do I enroll my existing deposit account to RCBC Online Banking?
a. Go to the RCBC Online Banking website b. Click ENROLL NOW c. Input your RCBC deposit account number or your RCBC MyDebit card number d. Read, understand & accept the Terms & Conditions e. Enter the one-time password (OTP) that will be sent your registered mobile number f. Complete your account details, including username & password g. Confirm & your online banking account is ready.
7. Is there a limit to using this service?
You can have as many transactions as long as the sum of all payments does not exceed P499,999 per day. There is no minimum amount required per payment.
8. Is there a fee for using this service?
Fees vary depending on the partner government institution. The fee will be debited from your source account on top of the amount to be paid.
However, there is no convenience fee for every successful BIR transaction.
9. Can I use my RCBC account to pay for another person’s government fees?
Yes, you can use your account to pay for another person’s transaction. You just need to indicate the other person’s details in the Landbank LinkBiz Portal’s transaction form.
10. How will I know if the transaction was successful?
A confirmation page will be displayed upon successful transaction. In addition, you will receive an SMS and email notification from RCBC Online Banking confirming the transaction.
11. When will my payment be credited?
The receiving government institution will acknowledge your payment on the time and date that the transaction is completed.
12. What will I do when my account was debited but I encountered an error upon sending my transaction?
RCBC Online Banking will automatically debit your source account first before pushing this to the government institution. If there was an error encountered, depending on the error result, the amount will be included in the reconciliation process and may be credited back to your account by the next banking day.
