RCBC enhances Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) program with Alpha Aviation Group
Yuchengco-led Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) affirmed its commitment towards a shared goal of uplifting of the Aviation sector through the launch of its Study Now Pay Later program (SNPL) 2.0 with a leading pilot provider, Alpha Aviation Group (AAG).
In the recently-held MOA signing, RCBC and AAG sealed its long-standing partnership since 2013, covering the enhancement of the SNPL program, enabling more aspiring pilots to finance their training through a multi-purpose collateralized loan with extended payment terms. The enhanced financing program is seen to ease monthly payments of an 18-month extensive aviation training which requires a significant amount of investment.
“This partnership supports the vision of RCBC of helping Filipinos realize their dreams and have better lives. We would like to thank Alpha Aviation for making this happen for us,” RCBC Consumer Lending Group Head Rommel Latinazo said.
Now on its 6th year, the partnership has supported over 40 aspiring pilots, some of which are now affiliated with leading international carriers.
Undergraduate Cadet Krystel Razon shared that becoming a pilot has been her dream but funding was a hindrance since it takes a lot of money to invest in this career. Through the SNPL program, she was given the chance to start her journey to becoming an airline pilot.
“This SNPL program 2.0 is a collective effort between AAG and RCBC in producing competent and skilled pilots, making the Philippines, a premier aviation training hub,” AAG Regional Director for Asia Pacific Christopher Magdangal said.
The Study Now Pay Later program is a financial program offered by RCBC designed to help aspiring pilots finance their aviation training program, through a multipurpose collateralized loan with flexible payment terms.
