General Promo Mechanics - Welcome Rewards

1. This promo is open to all new-to-bank RCBC customers who have successfully opened a checking & savings account (CASA) via RCBC Digital and branches within the promo period. Existing RCBC clients who opened additional CASA accounts are not eligible for this promo. 
2. To qualify for any of the following welcome reward, the new RCBC customer must fulfill the following parameters and transactions within the prescribed period below:

3. The customer may perform the qualifying transactions at any order or sequence. In addition, the qualifications for each welcome reward are independent of the others.
4. Customers will be credited and notified of their eligible rewards every 15th of the succeeding month following the date of their qualified transaction.

5. A customer may only receive each reward once. All abovementioned rewards are non-convertible and non-transferrable.
6. Use of the RCBC Digital app and RCBC debit card for other transactions such as withdrawals, bills payments, balance inquiries, among others, are not qualified for this promo.

 

I. Reward Mechanics: Php 500 Cash Gift

1. This reward is open to new-to-bank RCBC customers  who have successfully opened a CASA account via RCBC Digital within the promo period. New-to-bank customers who opened CASA accounts via any RCBC branches, as well as existing RCBC clients who opened additional accounts online are not qualified for this reward.
2. Within 7 days of account approval, customer must place a single or cumulative deposit of at least PHP 10,000.00, in order to be entitled to receive a Php 500 cash gift.
3. Account funding may be done through any of the following methods: online fund transfer, over-the-counter cash or check deposit, ATM cash deposit, or online check deposit.
4. Upon verification of eligibility, the Php 500 cash gift will be credited to the customer’s RCBC CASA  account according to the following schedule:

II. Reward Mechanics - Instapay Fund Transfer Fee Cashback

1. This reward is open to all new-to-bank RCBC customers who have successfully opened a CASA account via RCBC Digital or any RCBC branch nationwide within the promo period. Existing RCBC clients who opened additional accounts online are not qualified for this reward.
2. Within 30 days of the approval of the new account, , customer must complete his first interbank fund transfer via Instapay using RCBC Digital to qualify for the Php25 cashback. 
3. Upon verification of eligibility, the Php 25.00 Instapay transaction fee cashback will be credited to the customer’s RCBC savings account according to the following schedule:

III. Reward Mechanics - Php 200 SM Gift Pass eVoucher

1. This reward is open to all new-to-bank RCBC customers who have successfully opened a CASA account via RCBC Digital or any RCBC branch nationwide within the promo period. Existing RCBC clients who opened additional accounts online are not qualified for this reward.
2. Within 30 days of approval of the new account, client must complete a one-time, single-receipt, in-store or online purchase worth P3,000 using his RCBC MyDebit ATM card to qualify for this reward.
3. Upon verification of eligibility, the Php 200 SM Gift Pass eVoucher code will be sent to the customer’s registered email address according to the following schedule:

5. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of RCBC MyDebit ATM cards will be applied.
6. The SM Gift Pass eVoucher code may be redeemed within sixty (60) days from receipt of the electronic mail. Unredeemed vouchers within redemption period shall be forfeited in favor of RCBC with prior approval from DTI.
7. The SM Gift Pass eVoucher code may be presented at the Customer Service Counter of any The SM Store (SM Department Store) branch on or before the end of the validity period to claim your SM Gift Pass.
8. All SM Gift Pass eVoucher codes are tax-paid and are not convertible to cash.

1. How do I join this promo?

To join this promo, you must successfully open a checking and savings accounts (CASA) online or via any RCBC branches within the promo period. Unverified applications by December 31, 11:59PM are not eligible to this promo. 

2. Who are qualified to join this promo?

This promo is open to all new-to-bank RCBC customers who have successfully opened an individual checking & savings account (CASA) via RCBC Digital or any RCBC branch within the promo period. 

 Existing RCBC clients who opened additional CASA accounts, and new corporate/business accounts are not eligible for this promo. 

3. My application was rejected online, but I was able to finish opening the account in the branch. Will I still qualify for the rewards?

If an application was rejected online, but was opened in the branch, this account is technically considered approved and verified, and will be tagged as an account opened via an RCBC branch. 

The account is therefore qualified for the promo, provided that the branch validation happened during the promo period.

4. What rewards will I be eligible for?

You may qualify for any of the following welcome rewards, as long as you fulfill the prescribed parameters and transactions within the promo period:

5. Are the rewards tiered and can only be redeemed in a particular order?

You may perform the qualifying transactions at any order or sequence. In addition, the qualifications for each welcome reward are independent of the others.

6. How many times can I qualify for and receive the rewards?

You may only qualify for and receive each reward once. 

7. When will I receive my rewards?

Customers will be credited and notified of their eligible rewards every 15th of the succeeding month following the date of their qualified transaction. See specific schedule below per reward item.

I. For Php 500 Cash Gift:

1. If I deposit multiple times, totaling Php10,000, will I qualify for the cash gift?

Yes, as long as you have a total deposit balance of at least Php 10,000 within 7 days from when your account was approved, this will count towards qualifying for the cash gift. 

For example, if you deposit P1,000 first, then P2,000, and then 7,000 within 7 days from when your account was approved, you will qualify for the Php 500 cash gift.

2. If I withdraw funds from my account and end up with a deposit balance of less than P10,000 after 8 days from when my account was approved, will I still receive my reward?

Yes, your qualification will be based on your total deposit balance as of the 7th day after your account was approved. As long as you had at least P10,000 in your account on that day, you will be entitled to the Php 500 cash gift.

3. I opened my account through a branch and placed an initial deposit of P10,000 on that same day. Will I qualify for the reward?

No, the Php500 cash gift is only applicable to those who opened their new RCBC account via RCBC Digital.

4. How many times can I receive the cash gift?
   

You are entitled to receive the cash gift only once for the entirety of the promo period.

5. I placed a deposit of P10,000 on the first day after my account was approved, and then I placed an additional Php10,000 on the following day. Does this mean I get to receive the Php500 cash gift twice?

No, you are entitled to receive the cash gift only once, regardless of how many times you have placed a deposit into your account, provided that you have satisfied all parameters.

6. How and when will I receive my cash gift?

Your Php 500 cash gift will be credited directly to your new RCBC account based on the schedule below:

II. For Instapay Fund Transfer Fee Cashback

1. Is there a minimum fund transfer amount required to avail this reward?

No, there is no minimum transaction requirement. As long as you’ve made a successful first-time interbank fund transfer transaction via Instapay within 30 days upon your account opening, you will qualify for this reward.

2. If I transfer funds to another bank via Pesonet, will I still receive my reward?

No, only Instapay fund transfer transactions are qualified for this promo. PesoNet and intrabank fund transfers are not qualified for this promo.

3. I did my first Instapay fund transfer transaction within 30 days from when my account was approved, but the transaction failed. Then, I was able to repeat the transaction successfully after 31 days. Will I still qualify for the reward?

No, only successful transactions made within 30 days from when your account was approved will qualify for the reward.

4. How many times can I receive the cashback reward?
   

You are entitled to receive the cashback reward only once for the entirety of the promo period.

5. I transferred funds to two different accounts for the first time via Instapay within the qualified transaction period. Does this mean I will receive a cashback twice, one for each transaction?

No, you are entitled to receive the Instapay fee cashback only once, regardless of how many new accounts you have transferred funds to via Instapay. Only your first ever Instapay transaction fee will qualify for a cashback.

6. How and when will I receive my cash gift?

Your Php 25 Instapay fee cashback will be credited directly to your new RCBC account based on the schedule below:

5. What if I did multiple debit  transactions totaling to Php3,000? Will I be qualified to receive a reward?

No, you must complete a one-time, single-receipt, in-store or online purchase worth P3,000 using your RCBC MyDebit ATM card to qualify for this reward.
