Promo Mechanics
Promo Period: July 13-31, 2026
- This promotion is open to all existing RCBC MyDebit Mastercard cardholders who will use their RCBC MyDebit Mastercard for successful LRT-2 fare payments as they tap the card on the turnstile gate for contactless payment.
- RCBC will provide a fare rebate for RCBC MyDebit Mastercard cardholders to enjoy a flat fare of P1.00 for any single-journey ride on the LRT-2 line during the promo period, regardless of the distance or destination station.
QUALIFIED TRANSACTIONS
General Mechanics
- The Cardholder must ensure that their RCBC MyDebit Mastercard account is active and sufficiently funded prior to entering the transit area.
- The Cardholder must tap their physical RCBC MyDebit Mastercard on the Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) turnstile reader at the point of origin.
- Upon exit, the standard, distance-based LRT-2 tariff rate will be initially deducted from the Cardholder’s linked RCBC MyDebit Mastercard electronic wallet balance.
- Within three (3) banking days from the transaction date, the variance between the standard fare charged and the promotional fare (Standard Fare - P1.00 = Rebate Amount) shall be automatically credited back to the Cardholder’s RCBC MyDebit Mastercard account as a promotional fare rebate.
- The Piso Fare promotional refund shall apply to a maximum of eight (8) successful transit trips per calendar day per unique Cardholder.
- Any succeeding or subsequent rides taken within the same calendar day shall be billed at the standard, distance-based LRT-2 tariff rates and will not be eligible for a credit.
PROMO INCENTIVES
- The incentive is delivered in the form of a promotional fare rebate (cashback), ensuring the Cardholder pays a net amount of exactly One Peso (P1.00) per qualified transit journey.
- The rebate amount to be credited back to the Cardholder’s RCBC MyDebit Mastercard account shall be computed using the following formula:

Multiple transactions from 1 RCBC MyDebit Mastercard Account number in the same calendar day will be flagged with only the first eight transactions to be qualified for promo rebates. Any succeeding transactions are flagged as unqualified/ineligible for promo rebates. |

For example: If the standard fare from Origin to Destination is P30.00, the initial deduction will be P30.00. A rebate of P29.00 will subsequently be credited back to the account.
- In the event that the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA)/Department of Transportation (DOTr) implements an active, line-wide markdown or promotional discount on the LRT-2, the resulting discounted price actually charged at the turnstile during the trip shall serve as the official "Standard LRT-2 Distance-Based Fare Charged" for the basis of the rebate calculation.
- Each unique Cardholder is eligible to receive a maximum of eight (8) promo rebates per calendar day from eight (8) successful transactions.
- All qualified incentives shall be automatically credited directly to the Cardholder's linked RCBC MyDebit Mastercard account within three (3) banking days from the date of the transit transaction. Rebates will be credited back to the RCBC MyDebit Mastercard account on a per transaction basis.
