Promo Mechanics

1. Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (“RCBC”) will run the RCBC Hexagon Club’s 2026 Chinese New Year Special Time Deposit Rate Exclusive Offer (”Promo”) from February 16 to 27, 2026 (”Promo Period”).

2. Under this Promo, an eligible client’s over-the-counter Peso Time Deposit (“Peso TD”) placements that meet all of the following criteria will qualify for the following special time deposit rate, which is on a per annum basis and exclusive of all applicable taxes:

For the avoidance of doubt, Peso TDs placed through RCBC’s online banking facilities or channels other than RCBC Branches  are not eligible for this Promo.

3. “Fresh Funds” means an over-the-counter Peso TD placement in RCBC which, in RCBC’s sole determination, meets all of the following criteria: 

  • Comprised of (i) funds from checks drawn on banks and financial institutions other than RCBC which are deposited in RCBC and paid by the drawee within the Promo Period; and/or (ii) any other funds that are not already deposited in, or in the possession of, RCBC at any point during the Promo Period;
  • Did not originate from (i) a withdrawal and re-deposit of funds in RCBC during the Promo Period, or (ii) a rollover of any existing time deposit placement during the Promo Period, for sole purpose of qualifying (or re-qualifying) for the Promo; and
  • The placement results in an increase of the client’s total deposit balances in RCBC.

4. This offer cannot be availed in conjunction with other Time Deposit promotions of RCBC. Hexagon Club add-on rates shall not apply.

5. All newly opened accounts under this Promo are subject to RCBC’s standard account opening procedures and shall be governed by RCBC’s policies, procedures, terms and conditions governing deposit accounts.

6. In case of dispute, the decision of RCBC, with concurrence from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), on all matters relating to the Promo shall be final and binding on all clients.

7. By joining this Promo, the client confirms acceptance of  the Promo Mechanics and the terms and conditions of the Hexagon Club Membership, including, but not limited to, the consent to the disclosure and processing of client’s information.
