To ensure our clients’ safety when browsing the RCBC website, outdated internet browsers and operating systems will no longer be supported to browse RCBC.com effective April 1, 2023. The following internet browsers and operating systems will be affected during the system update.

  • Safari 8 / iOS 8.4 R
  • Safari 8 / OSX 10.10 R

We have outlined below the steps for you to check and update your browsers and Operating Systems. Kindly apply the recommended updates to ensure a smooth transition.

 

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR MOBILE BROWSERS AND OS

Android phone

Updating your OS and Chrome browser:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app > tap Software update > tap Download and Install
  2. This will update both your OS and built-in Chrome browser

iPhone

Updating your iOS and Safari browser:

  1. Go to Settings > tap General > tap Software Update
  2. If Automatic Updates is turned off, tap Automatic Updates and toggle Download iOS Updates to download the latest iOS update.
  3. Click on back and the latest iOS Update should appear. Click on Download and Install below to initiate the update.
  4. This will update both your iOS and built-in Safari browser

If you have Chrome app installed on your iPhone, follow these steps to update your Chrome browser:

  1. Open your App Store app > Tap on the profile icon > scroll down until you see the list of apps installed > Tap on Update beside the Chrome icon

 

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR DESKTOP AND MAC BROWSERS

Updating Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome Browser
  2. Click on the three dot symbol on the upper right side corner of your browser 
  3. Hover over the Help option and click About Google Chrome.
  4. This will show the current version and will prompt to update to the latest version.

Updating MacOS

  1. From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen > Choose System Settings > click General in the sidebar, and Software Update on the right.
  2. Or choose System Preferences. Then click Software Update.
  3. If Software Update finds new software, click the Update Now or Upgrade Now button to install it.
